I have been playing music for a while. I tried to get involved in digital music, but have not had much work done despite having the software and tools since 2009. In view of aiding in my Chinese orchestra in creating newer pieces, I've taken up composition, and here is the record of what I had composed so far, in the usual reverse chronological order. Note that unless otherwise indicated, the pitch standard defaults to A440/A442.
Opus numbers have the form yy/mm-c
, where yy/mm
is the 2-digit year followed by month indicating the start of the piece's conceptualisation (I've only started composing in 2015, and frankly am not expecting to live till 2115 any time soon), and c
is a running count. I can augment the opus with the rn
suffix if there is a need to track the revision, with n
representing the revision number.
Each piece has it's own licence and copyright attached to it. They have a tendency to be CC BY-NC unless otherwise noted. The music is engraved with LilyPond, using Frescobaldi as the IDE. The downloads offered are in A4 size. 简谱 can be provided on request---they will be handwritten for now until I can figure out how to get LilyPond to engrave them automatically, including the conductor's master score.
